Nature Friends Los Angeles is a Private Membership organization. Its facilities are NOT open to the general public. All Nature Friends activities are by invitation only. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any person for any reason. Please call ahead before you visit our location and arrange an appointment. Do not come unannounced. We often have private events at our locations, and we appreciate your not disturbing them with unannounced visits.

Our Facilities - Sierra Madre, CA

Nature Friends Los Angeles facilities are available, on a selective basis, for meetings, retreats, weddings, workshops, seminars, birthday parties or picnics.

Meeting Room with Stage
A spacious wood-paneled Meeting Room (30ft x 30ft) with its own raised stage, audio system and breath taking views of the grounds and surrounding mountains and overlooking the San Gabriel Valley. The room can accomodate up to 70 persons.

A library/meeting room (13ft x 18ft) with conference table and chairs and adjoining ladies and mens restrooms.

A fully equipped kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen including a commercial 10-burner Wolf stove with 2 ovens, dishes, cutlery, microwave, coffee brewers, pots, pans and serving dishes.

A charming dining room with tables capable of seating 70 persons.

An outdoor patio area
An outdoor patio area with picnic tables set under shady oak and with alder trees capable of accommodating over 100 people.

Parking spaces
Parking spaces (in 3 lots) for up to 20 cars. Unlimited parking is available within a few minutes drive. Shuttle services can be arranged.

Dormitory style bedrooms
Five dormitory style bedrooms capable of sleeping 20 persons, with bathrooms and showers.

Space for setting out additional bedrolls and sleeping bags.


An indoor/outdoor bar

An indoor/outdoor bar equipped with refrigerators, freezer, serving counter, beer keg cooler and bar serving utensils.


Hiking trails

Several major hiking trails leading into the beautiful San Gabriel mountains, all within walking or short car ride distance.


Additional Facilties

Facilities for holding sweat lodges and open-air barbecues.
