Volunteer With Nature Friends LA

Nature Friends LA has always been built and sustained by people who care about nature, community, and creating a welcoming place for others.

Volunteers help us maintain the property, care for the grounds, prepare for events, welcome guests, and continue rebuilding after the Eaton Fire. Whether you can help for a few hours, take on an ongoing project, or contribute a particular skill, there is a place for you here.

Ways to Help

Property and Garden Work

Help us care for the grounds, gardens, trails, outdoor gathering areas, and buildings. Volunteer days may include cleanup, planting, painting, organizing, light maintenance, and seasonal projects.

Events and Hospitality

Help prepare for weddings, community events, club gatherings, fundraisers, and overnight stays. Volunteers may assist with setup, cleanup, decorating, greeting guests, serving food, or supporting event operations.

Skilled Projects

We occasionally need help from people with experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping, design, photography, technology, fundraising, and other professional skills.

Club and Community Support

Volunteers can also help with membership outreach, communications, event planning, fundraising, historical preservation, and other behind-the-scenes work that keeps the organization moving forward.

Volunteer at Your Own Pace

You do not need to make a major commitment to get involved. Some people volunteer at a single workday or event, while others help regularly or take responsibility for a particular project.

We will help match you with opportunities that fit your interests, abilities, and availability.
